Victor Plank Harms is a soup-to-nuts TV showrunner who carries ideas from pitch to post. His international career began in Toronto, where he worked as an unpaid intern on a true crime series for Discovery ID and learned how to develop international hit shows.
Over the past fifteen years, he has story produced some of the world’s biggest unscripted formats in the U.S, including Alone: Frozen (History Channel),
90 Day Fiancé (TLC), Impractical Jokers: After Party (truTV), and he also inked a development deal with Fox Entertainment as an independent producer.
Originally from Denmark with a strong tradition for public service television, Victor is driven by the idea that a great TV show should entertain, educate and empower the viewer.
His work as a filmmaker has taken him across North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Arctic.
Victor holds an M.A. in Media Studies from The New School in Manhattan, earned his B.A. in TV & Media Production from the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Copenhagen, and studied at Ryerson University’s School of Radio & Television Arts in Toronto
